Minimalist Wardrobe Challenge: What to Do with the Old Stuff Part 2

Today I’m upcycling some old t-shirts. Yay!

For the first one, I cut the shirt into strips and braided them.

To “clasp” the bracelet, I just threaded one knot through the other end of the braid.

I made a lot of them.

Ta-da! More to follow shortly. πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Amanda, thanks for finding my blog.. so I could find yours:) I love these bracelets. I have been going through my closet the past month, and I love it. I am doing the “project 333”, so not going down to 10 like you, I only do that when I travel. I will be posting about it, as I bring in new pieces. Cant wait to read your posts on it.

      • Project 333, is were you commit to using only 33 items for 3 months. Including shoes, jewelery, jackets. Its a lot of fun. I live in Denmark and it is cold most of the year, so I need long and short versions of everything year round. After 3 months you can change out what you didn’t wear for something else:) I haven’t really been able to find a lot of people in DK who loves this stuf, so I figured I would go online:)
