July: Jump Off the Ladder lite!

Often, readers tell me they would love to do the Jump Off the Ladder challenge, but fear they don’t have the time or energy to create and manage one for the entire twenty days. I totally understand, dear friends. Sometimes life speeds up and it’s hard to find a balance between what we need to do now and what we need to begin doing for our futures.

To help out a little, this month we’re doing Jump Off the Ladder lite: a seven day challenge! Here’s how this works:

Beginning Sunday, July 21st, participants will be adding two little things to their lives. I know what you’re thinking – how can we possibly profit from adding more to our already busy schedules?

Living Simply means creating good habits as well as tossing the bad ones. Fortunately for us, adding can sometimes actually be easier than subtracting! Adding a few simple, quick habits to our daily routines requires less mental and emotional effort than trying to let go of familiarity. So without further ado, here are the two additions:

  1. Drink 16 oz of water before breakfast every morning.
  2. Write down three things you are thankful for every night before bed.

That’s it! Easy, right? Anyone can do it. And here’s the best part… there are no sign-ups, and no check-ins required. Just two simple additions that I promise will add some peace to your mind and body. Ready to give it a shot with me?

As always, if you want to join the JOtL community, you can find us on Facebook. And be sure to comment on the updates. I’d love to hear how you’re getting on!

    • I’ll definitely post a reminder first thing Sunday… if you’re subscribed to receive post updates through your email, that should show up in your inbox. If you aren’t subscribed, feel free to send me a message at amanda@tshirtsntwine.com with your email address and I’ll send you a personal reminder! ๐Ÿ™‚
